BACKGROUND
In 2017 Blue Heron secured an opportunity to invest as a co-GP in the development of a well-located, 336-unit apartment community in the fast-growing, high-income Sarasota, FL market (adjacent to Tampa-St. Petersburg). The partner is a top-20 US multifamily development and construction company with whom Blue Heron has invested with 7 times since 2012.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Closing on the land occurred in April of 2018
First units and clubhouse were delivered in September 2019
Construction completed in April 2020
